About the Position:
As a Systems Administrator, you will manage and maintain hardware and software systems that enable us to deliver value to patients and clients. You will also be responsible for the configuration and ongoing support of our VMS applications, including provisioning user accounts, troubleshooting issues via our helpdesk, maintaining server patches, and working with hardware providers to set up new users. You will provide guidance to and share knowledge with other staff and show initiative to identify process and product improvements to address current and future business objectives. You will be asked to think critically and empowered to make decisions to streamline our operations. Since you’ll be managing our user ticket queue, you’ll need to be great at communicating with people to solve their problems. This role is a combination of helpdesk, hardware and software support, and infrastructure management. If you’re a quick learner, you will enjoy this job and this team!
Essential Functions:
Clean-up and streamline helpdesk and ticketing system
Adhere to SLAs
Empower users to solve future helpdesk issues by explaining solutions and conveying knowledge
Solve user tickets or escalate to relevant vendors or stakeholders
Assist in managing our cloud environment.
Assist our ISO in maintaining and upgrading our security systems
Work with our hardware provider to ensure we onboard new employees in a timely manner
Manage our hardware lifecycle for company-issued laptops
Contributes to overall support knowledgebase; may provide training to other team members.
Document deployment and operational procedures
Coordinates work on multiple initiatives and projects with internal and external 3rd parties
Ensure all activities are conducted in a manner that is compliant with all Momentum Life Sciences, client, and industry mandated rules and regulations
Function as a resource on the use and operation of current systems
Required Skills:
Experience implementing, configuring and/or supporting applications (e.g. CRM, telephony, ERP) preferred
Ticketing systems experience is required
Experience working in a Scrum environment preferred
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Solid problem solving and critical thinking skills
Life Sciences or Healthcare experience is a plus
Experience with Microsoft Entra, Office365, Intune and related systems and processes (user management)

Required Education and/or Experience:
BA or BS/MS degree preferred or equivalent work experience. 1+ years of experience of related work experience
Experience with life sciences industry regulations preferred
Experience in information security
Experienced in analyzing processes and information, identifying problems and trends, and developing practical solutions and strategies.
Industry certifications (Net+, Cloud+, etc.) are a plus
